Butt Ugly On Tour

Butt Ugly Tours central Alberta middle schools each fall (October to November). The Tour Schedule is often booked up to a year in advance so middle schools interested in having the program should contact us early to secure a program date (see Booking Information).

BLAST 2008-2009 Conference Series

Butt Ugly will be presenting at each of the Alberta BLAST conferences Fall 2008

BLAST – Building Leadership for Action in Schools Today (www.blastonline.com) is a unique youth tobacco reduction program that challenges youth, grades 7-9, to think critically about tobacco while developing teambuilding, leadership, communication and tobacco reduction advocacy/refusal skills.

The program begins with a FREE weekend conference where student delegates (4 per team) & coaches will enjoy accommodations, meals and lots of cool prizes as they learn about various issues regarding the dangers of tobacco and the tobacco industry. Equipped with new skills and knowledge, teams can make a difference in their school and community.

Past youth-led initiatives have included advocating for stricter tobacco legislation, organizing health fairs, mini-BLAST conferences, creating multi-media projects such as poster contests, music videos and even public service announcements!
